Thomas Warner, Jr. attended Morris Brown College and was very instrumental in the music department. He graduated from Morris Brown College in 2003 with a Bachelors degree in Music Education. He played Trumpet in each band program offered, served as the Section Leader & Drum Major, and is a provide member of Kappa Kappa Psi Music Fraternity, Incorporated.
Warner continued his educational pursuits and obtained his Masters in Music Education from Florida State University and is currently a PhD Candidate at UNCG School of Music. Warner is the Assistant Director of Bands and Music Department Lecturer at North Carolina Agricultural Technical State University. From 2018-2020 he was the President of the HBCU Director Consortium. He also serves as the Educational Clinician at Conn - Selmer Education and is the proud owner of 151 Productions.
Among his many accomplishments our very own Thomas Warner, Jr. will be found in the 2nd Edition of the HBCU Experience book as a contributing author. In the book, HBCU Band Alumni share their stories of how being a HBCU Band Member of their University has molded them into the people they are today.

The Morris Brown Band Foundation would like to send well wishes to all those affected by the worldwide health pandemic. This virus has not only impacted everyday life as we know it, but it has shed light on our ability to come together to help those in need. In the midst of this crisis, we continue to think about all of the essential workers, especially our very own alumni and students on the front lines who have shown tremendous bravery and tenacity throughout this troubling time for many.
May God continue to reign over each of you as we combat this crisis as a nation.
